Ministerial Fellowship

A part of Faith Outreach Center, Faith Outreach Center Ministerial Fellowship (FOCMF) provides, as its primary purpose, credentials for those qualified individuals, churches, and ministries based upon their call and verifiable activity in a specific area of ministry.

It is often said that we are known by our associations and FOCMF provides a credible relationship with an established ministry that is a resource of ministry counseling, educational opportunities and fellowship. It is also a means of support for each person who has responded to "as the Father has sent Me , so I also send you," John 20:21.

There are three levels of membership within FOCMF:

A. Licensure: the primary level of membership given to those who currently or are being considered to provide ministry functions with the local church or ministry, not necessarily in a paid position, and needs credentials for identification or official designation as a minister (prison or hospital visitation, preaching or teaching responsibilities).

B. Ordination: the level of membership that provides those who a call of God on their life to fulfill the position of counselor, missionary, psalmist, or one of the five-fold ministry gifts listed in Ephesians 4:11 which also designates an individual legal authority as an officer of the State of Florida empowered for legal ceremonies such as marriages, funerals and any other ministerial function appropriate for a "Minister of the Gospel."

C. Affiliation: a level of membership for either a church or ministry that is not currently affiliated with any other denominational or governmental agency that provides an avenue of accountability, fellowship and continued training in the areas of ministry.

Additional purposes of the Fellowship:

A. A source of identification and relationship is provided with like-minded ministers, churches and

ministries.

B. A provision of support with resources that include:

1. Ministry and personal counseling for those actively involved in the Fellowship;

2. Recommendations of individuals who may fill a need;

3. Mediation on spiritual, legal or personal disputes and misunderstandings;

4. Spiritual accountability for ministry and individual needs that would bring into question the

member's Christian witness or behavior that may violate biblical principles.

(I Thessalonians 5:22).
