My name is Michelle and I haven't been coming to Faith Outreach long, but I have been there off and on. My husband and I have been struggling with money for a long time, we have three children. I'm on disability and my husband had been through chemo for kidney cancer about three years ago and has been in and out of jobs and last August he was laid off from his last job. We lived in a trailer park in a home that I owned and was kind of run down and had no air conditioning and we had no money to get air conditioning and fix it up. My in-laws lived across the street from us in a trailer and decided to try and purchase a home for all of us to live together so we wouldn't have to struggle with our bills anymore and Praise God we got our house and moved out of the trailer park and into a decent home for our children.
Another blessing that has happened to me is that I was adopted at birth because my birthmother was a drug addict and alcoholic and was not able to care for me. I was adopted by my grandparents and had a great life, well a about a year after I was born my birthmother had another child in Gainesville, FL that was also given up for adoption and I have known about him for a long time. When I was old enough, I started searching for him and somehow I knew that eventually I would find him, but I couldn't afford a professional so I had given up hope there for a while, then not long ago I joined facebook and decided to try again and look for him and I thought maybe by some chance he might be on facebook and guess what? He was and I found him, he lives in Gainesville, FL with his parents. It was the happiest day of my life and I think it was the happiest day of his life too. We got to meet each other for the first time in 35 years on April 28,2010 and it was great! I believe God had it all planned this way for me to find my brother and I have Him to thank for it. My brother's name is Scott and we are so much alike it isn't funny, we look alike, we both have learning disabilites, we have a lot of mannerisms alike, and we even laugh alike! I am so proud of my brother and I love him so much and I can't wait until I get to see him again and spend more time with him, which is supposed to be this week or next. Thank you Jesus for helping me find my brother!

You asked that I share with you the results of my 2009 twenty-one day fast. Last year my prayer requests were as follows:

1. Prayer request: That the judge would rule in our favor in the custody case of my granddaughter, Shelbie. The judge had some strange kind of vendetta against my son and after 3 years of court proceedings, things looked really dim and it appeared that he would not be ruling in our favor.
In April the Judge “reluctantly” granted custody of Shelbie to my son. She is now living in a secure, safe, loving environment. Her health has improved as well as her grades. Praise God!

2. Prayer request: That my husband would reconcile his differences with our son. The enemy was working very hard to bring division in our family. It got to the point that my husband fired our son and forbade him ever to come back into our home.
Out of the blue in December, my husband told me to call our son and invite him over for Christmas Eve dinner. He said that he wanted to put all this behind him. Not only did he receive him back into the house, but he also asked him back to work part time at 1-1/2 times the pay he used to get! Shelbie has been spending time with us and God is doing a tremendous bonding between her and her grandfather! He used to look down on her but now she is the apple of his eye. Praise God!

3. Prayer request: That I be released from a 23-year commitment to a long time friend that’s been going on way too long and was holding me in bondage.
God released me in early December. Praise God!

Last year’s experience with fasting and prayer has been such a witness to my family of not only how good God is, but how good He is at doing things. I have already started my 2010 twenty-one day fast and my family is giving me things to pray about. I have made my prayer list and - I know that I know - they too will be answered.

I had been very down and out for 8 months of being unemployed. I thought that I could not take it any longer, and the Lord gave me a vision in a dream,that very soon all would be better, the worst was over. The next week I was given a job. I have since given thanks, and re-dedicated myself to Our Lord God.
I thank Him daily for a healthy Son, and a chance to live for Him.Praise the Lord, and Praise to the wonderfull Pastor, and People of Faith Outreach Church.

Greetings in Jesus most wonderful name. Here I have an urgent prayer request for our state of Andhra Pradesh. Here we have a lot of rains in our state. So because of continues rains all the reservoirs were filled and hundreds of villages are drawn in water and hundreds of people were died and thousands of people lost their houses and belongings, waiting for drinking water and food. They are in need. They need thousands of water packets, food packets, cloths and shelter. People lost every thing. Government also trying to do some help. So in this critical time we need your valuable prayer supports and you can help these victims as the Lord enables you. People don’t have since yesterday, they are waiting for help. Please share this prayer request with your prayer teams and ask them to up hold us in their valuable prayers. Waiting for your prayerful & encouraging words.

To His glory and love I write this.
My wife Claudia and I will celebrate one year of holy, blessed matrimony Aug. 16th. Our wonderful, loving God has granted me a wish that I have had all my life. To find someone that I could love and care for but (and I know this is vain) someone who would love me and care for me. I did not beleive that this existed. Well God proved to me that it does and I glorify his name daily for this and for all He does. BLESSED IS THE LORD.

God is with me.
